DIRECTIVE OBJECTIVE: To establish a standardized decontamination cycle for all Cult of Bliss specimens, ensuring the total eradication of terrestrial pathogens.
THERMAL CAPACITY DATA: Our platinum-cured silicone is chemically cross-linked to sustain temperatures exceeding 200°C without molecular degradation or toxin leaching. Unlike porous elastomers (TPE/TPR), which melt or "leak" under thermal stress, our artifacts maintain their Shore Hardness and surface geometry during deep-boil cycles.
DECONTAMINATION PROTOCOL:
-
Primary Rinse: Use mild anti-microbial agents to remove bulk biological fluids.
-
Thermal Shock: Submerge the specimen in 100°C H2O for a minimum of 5 minutes. This ensures the destruction of 99.9% of bio-contaminants lodged in the complex textures (suction cups, ridges, nodules).
-
Stasis Air-Dry: Place on a non-fibrous surface (silicone mat or sterile tray). Avoid organic towels that may shed micro-debris onto the specimen's active surface.
RESEARCHER NOTES: Neglecting the thermal cycle leads to bio-film accumulation, which can cause erratic host reactions. A clean specimen is a compliant specimen.
